Dr. Bill Tillman and his daughter, Dr. Meredith Tillman Flatt, aim to support you with personal, medically thorough care. We listen, understand, and use detailed testing to evaluate your eye health. Because our practice blends decades of experience with modern clinical training, you receive the benefit of long-term continuity and up-to-date medical expertise. Whether you need routine vision care, advanced medical treatment, or surgical care, you will always have a team that treats you like family.

If cataracts begin affecting your daily life, our team is here to guide you through evaluation, surgery, and recovery. Cataract surgery is performed by our ophthalmologist, Dr. Aaron McKinley, who brings advanced surgical expertise to the surrounding communities. We also offer in-office YAG laser treatment for patients who need clarity restored after surgery.

Eye Care for Every Stage of Life

Your eye health changes as you grow, and our family is here to support you through every transition. We offer a range of medical eye care services designed to protect your long-term vision, answer your questions clearly, and help you feel confident about your next steps. With advanced diagnostic technology and a commitment to individualized care, we are equipped to care for everything from everyday vision needs to complex medical and surgical eye conditions.

Routine eye exams help us catch issues early, update your prescription, and monitor changes across the lifespan. We provide eye exams for infants, children, adults, and seniors, all with a focus on preventive care and long-term eye health.

We evaluate the underlying cause of your symptoms and create a plan that may include heat therapy, punctal plugs, prescription drops, or other supportive therapies. Our goal is to help you find meaningful relief.

Macular degeneration often begins quietly, which is why early detection matters. Using tools such as OCT and Optos imaging, we closely monitor changes and guide you through steps that support your long-term retinal health.

Some children experience rapid changes in prescriptions as their eyes grow. We offer tools such as Stellest® lenses or home-based visual training to support their comfort and long-term vision.

Glaucoma requires careful monitoring and early intervention. We provide comprehensive glaucoma care supported by advanced diagnostic tools, including OCT imaging, Optos widefield scans, visual field testing, and ERG, as well as surgical expertise from our fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, Dr. Aaron McKinley. From early detection to advanced treatment, you receive trustworthy support close to home.

Urgent Eye Care in Covington County

Certain symptoms shouldn’t wait for your next routine eye exam. If you’re experiencing sudden changes in your vision, irritation, or discomfort, our team is here to evaluate your eyes during regular office hours. We provide same-day urgent visits whenever possible so you can get answers quickly and protect your long-term eye health.

Red, irritated eyes can come from allergies, dryness, infections, or inflammation. An eye exam helps us understand how to treat it safely.

If something becomes lodged in your eye, it’s important to have it removed professionally. We examine the eye and remove the foreign body.
