Dr. Meredith Tillman Flatt is proud to continue the Tillman family legacy of compassionate, medically focused eye care. A Covington County native and graduate of Andalusia High School, Dr. Flatt returned to South Alabama after completing her doctorate at the Kentucky College of Optometry.
Dr. Flatt provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with special interest in preventative eye health, pediatric vision care, and the management of conditions such as diabetic eye disease, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye, and glaucoma. She is known for her warm communication style and her ability to make patients feel comfortable and informed.
Working alongside her father, Dr. Bill Tillman, she is honored to carry forward a practice built on trust and long-standing relationships. Many of the families she cares for today are the same families her father cared for decades ago, and she values the opportunity to provide continuity and connection across generations.
